I believe God is sovereign and is always in EVERYTHING... good and evil. That's a hard concept for most people to wrap their human carnal mind around. Most of us were brought up believing that God is 'good' and Satan is 'evil', and there's this big tug of war going on in the universe over who will win. I have come to believe that is not exactly true. Yes, God is good, but Satan is a created being, created for the purpose of 'evil'. Satan is God's obedient servant and is no way a match for God. Satan is a dog on a leash so to speak.

So, with that said, to answer your question about medication and surgery as "God directed". Medical doctors certainly have a place in dealing with diseases. However, it has been my observation and personal experience that generally M.D.'s do more harm than good. People get well in spite of, not because of, what modern medicine does to them. Most of the medical research to find "cures" is a scam. There's no financial incentive to cure any disease. Instead, they are constantly "discovering new diseases" and prescribing some man-made drug with terrible side effects.

On the other hand, herbs, vitamins, and minerals are cheaper, and more effective. God's way is to stay healthy by living HIS way. Most people totally ignore God until they are terminal. God is LOVE. HE can and does heal us from all our diseases. Some HE loves to life. Some HE loves to death. Either way it's God and HE knows best. God's plan all along is for us to learn to trust HIS superior wisdom... in ALL things... good and evil. The battle has never been about just good vs. evil. It much more serious than that. It's LIFE vs. DEATH.
